- Negotiation spells
- Cost (wounds)
- 1
- Effect
- +4 to the negotiation roll.
Cost is the wounds the caster pays. Type: W combat, O any time, N negotiation, V bribery, S special.
How it plays
Eloquence adds 4 to your negotiation roll, on top of any negotiator's bonus. Against a reluctance of 5, that lifts the chance of an agreement from about 3% to about 42%. It is great value for 1 wound, and a party with a good negotiator can talk its way past many monsters.
- Costs 1 wound of the caster's own strength, and the spell can't be cast if that would kill the caster.
- Cast before the negotiation roll (rule 10.7).
